What is a C V V 2?
"CVV" stands for Card Verification Value.

  • The three-digit number on the back of
    Visa     and Mastercard cards (Cardmember ID).
   

This is an important security feature for credit card transactions showing that you
hold the card and someone else is not using your card number.
